When I was a kid, life was really tough. I grew up in a small town where no one really paid attention to us. My parents didn’t stay together, and it felt like they were too wrapped up in their own problems to notice mine. We didn’t have much money, and our house was always quiet and cold, like no one knew how to talk about feelings. I learned early that life wasn’t fair, and I didn’t trust the people around me enough to share how I felt. But I found a way to deal with it. I started creating things—drawing, making little toys, anything that helped me express what I was feeling inside. Art became my safe space, the only place where I could let out everything I was holding in. I made plush toys that felt like friends, and I imagined they understood me even when no one else did. Through my art, I could say things I couldn’t say out loud, and it helped me feel less alone. Now, I use that same creativity to help others. I make plush toys and products that express emotions, just like I did when I was a kid. I want to give people something they can hold onto when they’re feeling sad, scared, or lonely, just like I did. My art is still my safe space, but now it’s also a way to connect with others and show them they’re not alone. Through my work, I want to help people feel understood, comforted, and brave enough to express their own feelings
